Su obra se mantiene en un estado de apertura, donde las formas apenas se insinúan y operan desde la intuición. La pintura oscila entre lo oculto y lo visible, generando una ambigüedad que cuestiona si algo está efectivamente representado; ese estado de presentimiento resulta suficiente para activar la imagen.

Para Sintura es fundamental que tanto el objeto como el esfuerzo por revelarlo permanezcan perceptibles. La pintura se configura así como un diálogo continuo que le permite reactivar recuerdos y evocar imágenes entendidas como huellas de la experiencia. Pintar desde la memoria y desde la observación se entrelaza en su proceso, preservando las improntas de lo visto y lo vivido. En ese cruce, Alejandro recuerda y conoce a través de la pintura.

Alejandro Sintura (Bogotá, 2000), a graduate of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and current MFA candidate at the Rhode Island School of Design, conceives his practice as an essentially pictorial act. His work remains in a state of openness, where forms are only faintly suggested and operate through intuition. Painting oscillates between the concealed and the visible, producing an ambiguity that questions whether something is truly represented; this state of premonition is sufficient to activate the image.

For Sintura, it is essential that both the object and the effort to reveal it remain perceptible. Painting thus becomes a continuous dialogue through which he reactivates memory and evokes images understood as traces of experience. Working from memory and observation intertwines within his process, preserving the imprints of what has been seen and lived. In this intersection, painting becomes the means through which Sintura remembers and comes to know.
